Prepping The Move

Ok as some of you have seen we are planning on migrating to vB very shortly so we can expand what we have already started here. A couple of things I want you all to be aware of so we can be sure to make this as smooth as possible.

1. When migrating to vB the passwords will not transfer over. Please ensure that your email address is up to date so you can do a password recovery once the move has taken place.

2. Save you signature information. I will do the best I can to make these items transfer with the board, but it's always good practice to keep a back up yourself so we know for a fact that everything will work properly.

3. The board will be offline for probably about a day to make the move successfully. This will probably be on a weekend so I can devote the time needed to make the transition with out any interruptions.

4. Please save my IM ID located in my signature. In the case you need to contact me you will know how to reach me.

Finally I want to hear from you about some of the things you would like to see on the new board. What do you like here and what would you like to see to make the board better?

I know we will be better off from this move not only with more versatility but also being housed on a better more stable server that will support our growth. Let me know if any of you have questions regarding this move.

Downtime

Hey Everybody,

I want to apologize for the recent downtime this past 24 hours. I was working to get our server upgraded and migrating to it, but the people that were actually doing the job didn't do it 100% properly, and that resulted in our downtime. But I am happy to say we are on a new server, with more RAM, better processors, and better features. As we keep moving forward this server will allow us to implement newer features for our community as well as keep us clicking at a faster speed.

The Market Place

Well good and bad news. I have tried multiple point systems to allow us to put a store in place, but for some damn reason they will not work or are having conflicts with the database tables, so I had to scratch the points system for the moment, but the good news is I have went ahead and opened the marketplace for you all to use and do requests and trade items as you see fit. I've even put an auction thread in case you really awesome designers want to sell your work for cash you can, but we will not regulate it, so use caution when dealing with other members in this sense.
